Characteristics of plastic artworks The following points demonstrate the three characteristics that distinguish plastic artworks:

1- Imagination: It is a group of mental interconnections found in nature, and the artist touches it in several situations, and it is one of the most important characteristics that characterize plastic arts, so the more the artist’s imagination, the greater the weight of the artistic experience.

2- Distortion: Distortion expresses the artist's ability to manipulate the contents of his artwork.  To show some meanings and emphasize them by deleting or adding some of them.

3- The style: the style can be described by the artistic imprint that is unique to the artist, and distinguishes him from others, as this modern era has not been determined by rules for the style used, as some artists used more than one style.  To empty his emotions, such as: Picasso, and some used the same method throughout his life, such as: Henri Matisse.

 Fine Art Schools:

The following points address some of the most prominent schools of plastic art:

1- The Realist School: This school was inspired by its name from works of art that embodied reality from the artist's perspective of the world and what it contains.

2- The influential school: this school moved from the descriptive expression of nature to its expression using projections of light, and the effects it creates.

3- The Brutal School: The French painter Henri Matisse presided over this good trend in plastic art, and his pioneers relied on transmitting energy in their paintings by using loud and simple colors.  Cubism: Picasso and Braque moved the artistic styles prevailing in their era to a different style that records what meets the eye, and highlights the essence of things through stylistic shapes and symbols of all kinds.

4- The Futuristic School: Some artists abandoned the conservative style, and tried to embody the spirit of the modern era with everything in it combined with visual movement and speed in implementation.
