History of philosophy:

 * Philosophy known in English b (Philosophy), which is derived the word from the Greek language Philosophia, and appeared in the Arabic language, and its meaning is the love of wisdom or seeking knowledge or search for the truth, despite the clarity of the meaning of the word philosophy, but it's hard significance to the concept of a  It is accurate, but in general it is an ancient human activity based on the theoretical and practical study of societies and cultures since ancient times, and philosophy is used in the modern era to denote the pursuit of essential knowledge in human life, including (reality, life, true meanings)

 * That is why philosophy, since the earliest times, to the present day, is going through great stages of development, which we will learn about through our article.  History of Philosophy The subjects of philosophy underwent developments during successive historical periods, and according to their chronology, they developed in the following manner: The origin and basic essence of the universe.  The Creator (God Almighty) and the question about his existence and his relationship with man.

 * The characteristics that characterize the Creator, why did man create and what is the purpose of it?

Reason and the basis of sound thinking.  Free will and its origin.  Determining the goal of life and a sound way of living.  After these matters, philosophy became more complex and interconnected with each other, some through the topics they dealt with, and after the emergence of the Christian religion (philosophers and scholars contemplate many things about the truth and the principles, and the founders:)  The historical nature of philosophy shows that it was based and based on religious or scientific beliefs.

From the above, it becomes clear that there are three stages according to their chronology, and they are:

Philosophy in the Greek Era Scholars say that the true origin and foundation of philosophy appeared in the sixth century before birth, that is, the Greek era, and this philosophy dealt with several topics, including (political philosophy, ethics, the science of existence, many things, living things, science, and science.  ), And Greek philosophy in the history of Western philosophy represents the moment of the development of philosophical thought, and many issues were discussed, namely:

Ontology: which are the primary principles.  Where reality can be continued.  Epistemology: It is an understanding of the validity of criteria for the limits of knowledge, especially in issues related to the problem of truth.  Ethics: It is a critical study of human human behavior, and aims to arrive at a definition of the best and most appropriate behavior that a person should follow.  It is known that these issues were not the only ones that preoccupied the Greeks,

 * In fact, there are some Greek thinkers who turned their attention to other sciences such as (cosmology, mathematics, medicine, etc. ...), but the focal points of Greek thinking were in the previous three points.  Greek philosophers There are many famous Greek philosophers among them:

1- (Socrates), who made a great revolution in the field of philosophy;  As his entire concern was on man, and thus he was interested in politics, ethics and economics, and he did not care about other issues such as astronomy and nature, because he considered that man is the measure of everything,

2- Then (Plato) appeared, who was searching for existence and the true meaning of man on earth, and after that appeared (Aristotle) who was searching for the origin of existence, and thus Greece remained linked to the search for truth and access to it by relying on reason and with him.  Philosophy in the Middle Ages, which is the period extending from the fall of the Roman Empire in the fifth century AD until the era of the renaissance in the sixteenth century, and this philosophy came to fill the intellectual and theoretical void that the Greeks have rightly suffered from the intellectual and intellectual imperfection.

 * Because the Greeks relied in their philosophy on revelation and religion, which is the basic component of their culture, and therefore in the Middle Ages philosophy adapted to become a component of human culture in society.  Because faith cannot contradict the intellect or dispense with rational thinking, and this matter was defined by Aristotle: The mind is a feature that God has assigned to man to know his innate nature, and reason is used for major issues such as the issue of existence, knowledge, judgment and destiny.

In this era, two types of philosophy emerged, and they are:

1- The philosophy of Christianity The early Christians built Christian philosophy on the ancient Hebrew understanding, and many Christian thinkers wanted to understand the nature of the law and its relationship with the Church, most of them are Leon and Hertoli, and Ambernos, and its relationship with the Church, most of them are Leon and Hertoli, and the most important of them are (Arianus and Arianus).

2- Islamic philosophy Islamic philosophy can be used in different ways, so it can be inferred that it is a philosophy that is derived from the texts of Islam (the Qur’an and the Sunnah).  So that it provides a complete vision about the universe, creation, life and the Creator, and its general definition are the philosophical conceptions that were made and researched within the framework of the Arab-Islamic culture (Islamic civilization), and it is not necessary for them to be linked to religious facts and texts.  The word closest to philosophy in Islam is wisdom, which is used in the Qur’an and Sunnah.

 * Consequently, Muslim philosophers have a great role in showing the truth and reaching true philosophy from the connotations and adopting the verses of God Almighty that are neither idle nor error, and the most important point was in knowing God Almighty and proving the Creator, which was an expression of an ambiguous question for the Greeks and Christians.  Until it was confined to proof and mental evidence, and the most important turning point was at the hand of (Ibn Rushd) through his adherence to the principle of free thought and the judgment of the mind through witness and experience.

 Philosophy in modern times:

 * It is part of the philosophy that emerged in Western Europe in the seventeenth century, and which remained until the end of the twentieth century, and this philosophy does not depend on a specific doctrine or a specific school, and it is also, first and foremost, a critical philosophy that is dependent on reason.  The philosophy of the modern era on the primary philosophy that adopted the religious character in its philosophy,

 * This philosophy began to be concerned with man’s cognitive problems and the service of man, as Descartes said: (And knowledge useful in life makes our souls the masters of nature and its angel) who tried to save the mind from the prevailing ideas and the prevailing truth.  The focus of thought direction with modern philosophy was pride in the mind, and it began to raise many new questions that were not before such as: Can a person who knows knowledge know?  If the answer is yes, is it possible to know the purpose of knowledge?  Is it possible to know the means of knowledge (reason, sense, intuition, experience, absolute knowledge, etc.);

This is a philosophy that is closer to the aspiration to knowledge and science than to humanity, ethics and religion.  At the present time, philosophy cannot be dispensed with in terms of (science, religion, humanity, ethics, thought, knowledge, politics, economics, life, methods of acquiring knowledge, etc.), which have a great role in our life.  So that everyone has the ability to access the truth through people who searched for it and passed it on to us,

 * Philosophy is mainly connected with science and religion, and cannot be separated from each other, so in order for a person to reach knowledge and truth and draw closer to God, he must search for the truth and read books and philosophers in various fields,
