Medical sources at the Children’s Specialized Hospital in Banha revealed that during the past two days, the hospital received 12 children, whose CT scans and analyzes had confirmed their infection with the Coronavirus, as the second floor of the hospital was designated as health isolation for children under 15 years old.
* The sources revealed that only two children have been detained so far in the hospital, while the treatment protocol of the Ministry of Health has been issued for 10 children with home isolation, as their data for communication and follow-up with their families was recorded by the hospital's follow-up team throughout the day.
* She explained that the ages of the cases received so far ranged between 6 months, 2 years and 5 years, up to 16 years, and the hospital had designated the second round as isolation for children with Corona patients, and the hospital's medical team was working at full capacity to serve and care for patients.
