 How to help a baby carry a bottle:




 * Parents need to be patient and give the child enough time until he is able to carry the feeding bottle, and begin to accustom him to carrying it gradually, and the child may need several attempts before he succeeds in this, and it is advised to start introducing the child to it by touching it, carrying it, and getting to know its shape and size  And its weight, and in the event that the child is attracted to it, it is possible to start filling it with milk up to a quarter and then to half and gradually until it is fully filled, taking into account the child's ability to carry the entire bottle and move it towards his mouth slowly, and the smell of milk can help attract the child to the bottle towards his mouth and in  If this does not happen, he can be helped to put it in his mouth.



 When to leave a bottle:




 * It is necessary to stop using the bottle for the baby when he reaches the age of eighteen months, according to what was reported by the American Academy of Pediatrics, and Keith Ayoub, assistant professor of pediatrics at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx in New York, believes that children should stop using the bottle before they reach puberty.  The second year of life, preferably earlier than that;  The reason for this is that it causes many health problems for children, such as tooth decay, because milk contains a type of sugar called lactose, which stays on the child's teeth for a longer time if it is used for feeding bottles, so it is recommended that after introducing juices to the child in a bottle of feeding.
