* The computer can be locked using the password by following the following steps: Open Windows Settings, by clicking on the Windows sign on the keyboard, then choosing Settings, but in the case of older versions, the Control Panel must be opened from  Click on the Windows Signal, then choose Control Panel.  Click on "Accounts" on the right side of the settings page, or choose "User Accounts" from the control panel in old versions of Windows.

 * Note that people who use Windows 8 or 10 need to secure accounts with a password when creating them.  Choose Make changes to my account in PC settings.  Choose Sign-in Options from the left sidebar.  Choose (When PC wakes up from sleep) from the "Require Sign-in" dropdown menu from the top of the page.  Clicking on “Add” under the PIN menu;  To create a PIN, which is an optional step,

 * Knowing that the lock code only consists of numbers, and it is used to log into the computer or unlock it.  Rewrite the lock code again in the next field;  To confirm it.  Click on the Windows key on the keyboard with the letter (L);  To lock screen.  Note: You can change the time settings for the display until the snooze screen automatically by following the following steps: Go to Settings, then System, then Power and Sleep.

 * Then choose Change Password.  Click on Security and Privacy.  Choose the General tab from the top of Windows.  Click on the Lock icon in the lower left corner, then enter the device's password;  To unlock the settings lock, and let it be modified.  Choose (Require Password after sleep or screensaver begins), where this option forces the user to enter the password after a certain period of time after entering the screen sleep mode, or stop.

 * Choose Immediately from the drop-down list, which leads to the need for the user to enter the password immediately after entering the screen sleep mode, or stop.  Choose Disable Automatic Login for users on OSX 10.9 or earlier versions.  Clicking on the following buttons together, namely: (Ctrl + Shift + Power);  This is to lock the computer screen, but if the device has a floppy disk feature (CD / DVD), the device can be locked by clicking on the following buttons: (Ctrl + Shift + Eject).

 * There are other methods that can be tried, in addition to the previous method of locking the computer, which are as follows: The first method: Click on the following buttons together, namely: (Ctrl, Alt, Del), then click on Lock the device.  The second method: Go to the Start menu, then click on the username, and at the end, choose Lock.  Third method: You can lock the device using a screen saver.

 * This is done by following the following steps: Go to the Control Panel, then Appearance & Personalization, and then change the screen saver.  Remove the mark from the box On resume, display the logon screen, and the length of time can be set before starting to provide the screen.
