Bassem Samra and Rehab El-Gamal stopped practicing the profession of acting

Egyptian artist Ashraf Zaki, the captain of the acting professions in Egypt, announced that Egyptian artists, Bassem Samra and Rehab El-Gamal, will stop practicing the profession of acting inside and outside Egypt.

 Ashraf Zaki said, in televised statements on the “Al-Hekaya” program on the Mbc satellite channel, Egypt, that the duo, Basem and Rehab, will be summoned for investigation at the union’s headquarters within 48 hours.

 This comes against the background of the bickering between the duo, Bassem Samra and Rehab El-Gamal, which the latter started on social media platforms and the first response, then the exchange between them turned to the media.

 The exchange began against the background of Rehab accusing Bassem of attending a rehearsal for filming a movie being prepared while he was "drunk", and his request during the technical session to smoke "hashish", which the latter denied.

 Ashraf Zaki confirmed in his statements, that the decision to stop him for Bassem and Rehab came against the background of his demand for artists to stop exchanging between them, whether in the media or on social media, and to resort to the Syndicate to solve their crisis, which was not answered.

 Ashraf Zaki explained that the unions abroad will be informed of the decision to stop the artists if both of them are related to filming scenes abroad or Arab series.

 Zaki noted that what happened from Basim and Rehab is unacceptable in vain, but rejected in form and substance, as they did not comply, commenting: “We will answer all the cameras and see every need of the hotel’s cameras that the incident took place in.”

 And he added, “I stopped the two from work.  This is something wrong with the artistic community and the entire artistic family. We will not go to the public prosecution, the prosecution will say, 'You don't have a union.'

 Rehab El-Gamal had confirmed that Bassem Samra during a rehearsal of one of the films cursed his colleagues when they objected to smoking him, while the latter issued a statement in which he said that Rehab is fabricating unreal facts, and that out of respect for the Acting Professions Syndicate, he filed a complaint against it, while retaining the legal response to everyone who  He declared him and his reputation.
