When was Real Madrid founded?





   Real Madrid (Spanish: Real Madrid) was founded in 1902;  Having established the first football organization in Spain in the name of Madrid Football Club;  This was a key step for Real Madrid, which was officially registered as a football club after the formation of the board of directors and the election of Joan Padros as president;  Precisely on March 6 of the same year, to be the first president of Real Madrid in history.





    * It is worth noting that this Spanish club added the Real Madrid title to its name to become Real Madrid in 1920;  Later it was given by the Spanish King Alfonso XIII, and the word Real means real in Spanish;  That is why Real Madrid is known as Real Club, as well as Los Blancos.





    About the founding of Real Madrid:




   The following are the most important data related to Real Madrid's early career during the foundation stage:





    In the first phase of its foundation, Real Madrid won 4 Copa del Rey titles: in particular, between 1902-1910.  Arthur Johnson is Real Madrid's first coach.  The team played its first match under the supervision of Julian Palacios.  Who is the first player to win the captain's armband in the history of Real Madrid Football Club. The presidency of the club, headed by Carlos Pedros, lasted for nearly 4 years, between (1904-1908).





    * Real Madrid played its first international match in 1905 with the French club, Gallia Sport Paris.  Real Madrid won their first title two years after their founding;  When it was crowned the King of Spain Cup in the 1904-1905 AD season.  The first Real Madrid stadium Real Madrid played in many stadiums in the Spanish capital Madrid from its inception until the opening of its first stadium in 1912;  It's the Campo de O'Donnell stadium.  This expanded rapidly after that, and after 11 years, the royal club moved to Chamartin Stadium on the northern side of the capital, Madrid, indicating that its opening match brought Real Madrid and Newcastle United.





    * Chamartin Stadium was badly damaged in the late 1930s and was restored and expanded.  To accommodate around 25,000 spectators, the club management also began planning to install a stadium with a larger capacity than the crowd, which is why the Santiago Bernabéu stadium was installed in the heart of Madrid, highlighting its opening in 1947.
