devil fish:

The devil fish or devil's ray (scientific name: Mobula modular) belongs to a group of cartilaginous fish that belong to the family Myliobatidae. This family is the most common species in the Mediterranean Sea and can be found in all the open oceans instead of the seabed.

Devil fish are usually found near shore to algae or near coral reefs or offshore islands, and are sometimes found in deep waters.

 Devil fish information:

In tropical seas and in shallow parts the light may sometimes be obscured by a wide shadow, the devil fish gliding through the waves through successive turns and dancing steps, spreading its huge fins that resemble the wide, outstretched wings or angles of the dark prince.  Despite its terrifying appearance, this fish that resembles to be a large water bat (with a wingspan of five metres), this fish has a gentle and playful nature, and it does not deserve the bad reputation it enjoys in any way.

It is called the devil fish because of its ominous dark cloak and the two horn-like cotyledons on either side of its head.

But all these accessories have nothing to do with the devil, as some hunters might think.  These appendages are used to absorb the plankton that this fish feeds on.  This huge, peace-loving creature is only dangerous when attacked, but it does not use all its secret weapons to defend itself and it seems that this fish has a venomous penis at the end of its graceful, whip-like tail but it can hardly be used.

Some people say that this fish jumps in the air to escape its enemies, and others believe that it does so in an attempt to get rid of the remora fish that is attached to it, and the reason may be due to its desire to show its ingenuity.

The devil ray fish makes great leaps at the speed of lightning and then bounces back to the surface of the water and then makes a crackle when its two fins rub against the water. This crack is like the sound of a gun and can be heard several kilometers away.

Sometimes this fish may cause real trouble unintentionally, for example, it may cause a malfunction in the air tubes of the diver with its two fins.

This fish is completely harmless if left alone, it may allow divers to approach and touch it, yet it is somewhat curious.

A group of devil ray fish (which has more social tendencies than the manta who prefers a solitary life) advances and feeds on plankton on their way, while the captain fish participate in the feast.

The manta fish, which is the older sister of the devil fish, has spread its wings to show its size relative to human size. The largest of these fish may have a wingspan of up to 9 meters,

The pioneers of social networking sites exchanged a picture of a fish with a very strange shape, which some called the "black devil" fish, and it sparked great controversy, as many differed about its type and source.

The strange fish was found dead on the coast of the US state of California by fishermen, and it is known as the "thorny ball" or the black devil fish, according to "Sputnik".

The circulated pictures showed the true shape of the fish and the parts that comprise it. The "black devil" is characterized by sharp teeth and the presence of a special tail capable of sensing the upcoming danger and knowing what is around it of fish, living creatures and herbs.

These types of fish live in the depths of the dark oceans, and thus are difficult to reach in the complete darkness, and it is not yet known where they came from or how they reached the shore.
