   Here are the steps to reset a Samsung device to factory settings through the device settings menu:


   1- Open the apps menu on the Samsung phone.  Go to the Settings app. Click General Administration.  Click the "Reset" option. Choose "Factory data reset". Click the "Reset" option or the "Reset device" option.  Click the "Delete all" option and wait for the device software's working screen to appear.


   2 Switch to wipe data / factory reset option, by pressing the device volume down key.  By pressing the power button on the device. Use the Volume Down key to highlight Yes, then press the Power key again.  Press the Power key to select the option to restart the system.


   Factory reset via keys:


   The keys on the Samsung device can be used to create a program for it, and this method is useful in the event that the user cannot access the settings, and here are the steps to do so:



   * Close the Samsung device you want to create a program for.  Click and hold the Volume Up, Power, and Home buttons at the same time.  Release the power button when the device vibrates. Release the pressure you are applying to other buttons when a menu appears on the device's screen.



   * Use the Volume Down key to access the option to delete all user data.  Press the On / Off button. Use the Power key to navigate to Yes - delete all user data and select it.  Choose the restart option.



   Samsung remote reset:



   You can reset your Samsung device to factory settings and remotely wipe all data on it, using the Find My Mobile app, [2] by following these steps:



   * Go to the Find My Device application website, and this page can be accessed by clicking on the link, click here.  Log in to the page with your Google account. Click on Enable lock and erase. Click on the Scan option. Note: Use of this application requires the device to be turned on, logged in with a Google account, and the GPS service activated.



   How to backup on Samsung device:



   * Samsung phone user can take backup of his cell phone before doing factory reset by following these steps:



   * Open the applications on the Samsung phone's home screen (Applications).  Open the Samsung phone's Settings menu, then click the (Settings) option. Click on the option (Cloud and accounts), then choose the option (Backup and Restore).  Choose the option (Back up my data) that appears in the (Google Account) menu.



   Click the (Off) button to switch to (On) to start taking a backup of Samsung phone data.
