How to make meat shawarma,


Meat Shawarma:


 * Shawarma is the most famous sandwich in Arab countries after the falafel sandwich, and it is considered a complete meal and rich in many nutritional elements, so it is one of the sandwiches that can replace you for lunch or dinner.  The shawarma sandwich can be prepared using chicken, or meat, but the most traditional method in our Arab world is that using meat, and chicken shawarma is more popular in Turkey, we will offer you a way to season the meat to prepare the shawarma sandwich.


 * How to marinate meat for shawarma:



 -Ingredients:



* A kilo of tender, bone-free meat.  Five cloves of garlic.  Half a cup of fresh lemon juice.  A quarter cup of vinegar.  A quarter cup of olive oil.  A teaspoon of clove seeds.  Small spoon of salt.  ½ teaspoon ground cumin.  Half a teaspoon of ground caraway.  Half a teaspoon of ground cardamom.


 - Half a teaspoon of dried thyme.  Half a teaspoon of ground cinnamon.  Half a teaspoon of black pepper.  A quarter of a teaspoon of hot red pepper.  A quarter of a teaspoon of ground ginger.  The tahini sauce has two tablespoons of tahini.  A cup of fresh lemon juice.  Three cloves of crushed garlic.  A quarter of a teaspoon of salt, or as desired.


 To serve: Half a cup of chopped parsley.  Grilled tomato.  Crisp.  Arabic bread.  Onion, sliced, seasoned with sumac and a little lemon juice.


 * How to prepare:


 Mix all the spices mentioned in the meat marinade, with lemon juice, and vinegar.  Cut the meat into slices lengthwise.  Put the meat in a bowl, then add to it the spices seasoning and olive oil, then cover the meat and put it in the refrigerator, and leave it for a full night soaked with the marinade, but if you do not have time for that, soak it for at least three hours.


 The first method of grilling:


 - Place the roasting pan on a medium heat and roast the meat over it for a period of ten to fifteen minutes. When it is done, remove it from the pan and cut it as desired.


 - The second way to Shi:


Place the marinated meat in a heat-resistant pyrex tray, then roast it in the oven for a period of ten to fifteen minutes, or until it becomes tender.  In a small bowl, mix the tahini, with lemon juice, salt, and garlic, until the consistency is creamy.  Place the meat on top of the Arabic bread, top it with the tahini sauce, and the marinated onions, and serve with fried potatoes and grilled tomatoes.


 * Note: You can prepare an Arab salad to add a kind of crunch to the side of the shawarma sandwich.
