Types of bacteria:
There are many types of bacteria known to biologists, and among the most prominent types are the following:
1- Coccus bacteria exist individually, in pairs, or in the form of chains, or clusters, according to the surrounding environmental and bacterial conditions, knowing that this type takes a round oval shape, and this type of bacteria may cause boils, Or meningitis, pneumonia, or scarlet fever.
2- Bacillus bacteria take the form of sausages, and they exist in a group or in the form of linked chains. These bacteria may reach the human body by eating contaminated food and drink, and these bacteria can cause multiple diseases. Such as diarrhea, and there are types that affect the respiratory system, and cause diphtheria (diphtheria), or anthrax disease.
3- Vibrio bacteria, Vibrio bacteria appear in a spiral or comma-shaped form in writing, knowing that they live in aqueous environments, and they travel in a rushing movement using a single flagellum, where the exoskeleton resembles the shape of a flagellum, and these bacteria cause disease Cholera. Helicobacter pylori The bacterium Spirillum takes a solid spiral shape. These bacteria cause many diseases that are transmitted through food, or they may cause diarrhea, inflammation and stomach ulcers.
4- Spirochete bacteria The spirochete bacteria take a long, thin, and flexible circular shape. They usually move in a circular manner in the tissues lining the mucus or sticky environments. This type of bacteria causes syphilis or Lyme disease. Classifications of bacteria Bacteria are classified according to several principles and principles.
Thus, the classifications of bacteria can be mentioned as follows:
* According to the nature of the cell wall, there is what is called Gram stain, which is an examination used to determine the type of bacteria by detecting the structure of the wall surrounding the bacteria.
* By shape, there are three common forms of bacteria: The first is the circular shape, such as Coccus bacteria, and another is the cylindrical shape. Examples include Bacillus bacteria, and the third type is the helical shape such as Spirillum bacteria.
* According to the genetic makeup, the division depends on the inclusion of bacteria within a tree called (family tree), which depends mainly on the evolutionary relationship between the types of bacteria, and in this classification, specialists resort to reading the DNA or RNA structure of the bacteria. Definition of bacteria Bacteria are defined as single-celled organisms with a complex structure, while they contain a strong and protective layer that enhances their resistance to white blood cells in the body,
* You do not see bacteria with the naked eye, but rather with laboratory microscopes, and as it is known that bacteria are found everywhere around us, and even inside our bodies, as they can live in various life conditions and different environments. And useful to us.
