How to prepare Egyptian dumplings,




Egyptian dumplings:




 * One of the sweets that the city of Egypt is famous for, and it is one of the popular and traditional sweets that are widespread in abundance and loved by many families, dumplings are known in many Arab countries as they are called lokma al-qadi, al-awamah and luqaymat, and are prepared in the same usual and recognized way, and  It is one of the simple and easy-to-make sweets at home and gets the attention and desire of everyone.



 The dumplings are rich in sugar, so they are a hearty dessert.



 the ingredients :


 Two cups of warm water.  Two cups of white flour.  Four tablespoons of oil.  A tablespoon of yeast.  Vegetable oil, a large amount for frying.



 Ingredients for the syrup:




 Two glasses of water.  Two cups of sugar.  Juice of about half a lemon.  Large vanilla spoon.  Preparation Method: The syrup is prepared to cool down and it is preferable to use it cold in order to get crunchy dumplings.  We put sugar and water on the fire and leave until the sugar melts, then we put lemon juice and vanilla until it boils and becomes thick, then it is left at the kitchen temperature until it cools.



 How to prepare dumplings:




 * Mix all the ingredients with each other until we have a cohesive dough and leave it until its size doubles.  We prepare the dough, then hold it between the fingers and cut it with a tea spoon.  Bring the oil and put it in a deep frying pan and pour abundant oil and leave it to be heated on a high temperature, then pour the dumpling balls until they are reddened and stir them until they are cooked and rise from the oil.  Take out the dumplings from the oil and cover them with the cold drop.



 Then we leave the dumplings with a colander until the excess is drained from the syrup.  Dumplings are served fresh and crunchy.  Decorating as desired, add a little finely ground pistachios on the face of the kernels, and a little powdered sugar can be added on the face, dumplings can be eaten with cold cream as it gives a light and delicious taste.  And two health and wellness.
