 What is ammoni،

What is ammonia,

Definition of ammonia;

 * Ammonia gas or ammonia can be defined as a colorless alkaline gas. It is produced by the body during the analysis of organic substances during important metabolism processes. The aqueous form of ammonia is called ammonium hydroxide (in English: Ammonium Hydroxide), and ammonia gas is an inorganic compound.  It is composed of nitrogen and hydrogen, and its molecular formula (NH3), and it has a pungent and distinctive smell, and it is worth noting that when a person is exposed to ammonia gas, it becomes irritated to the skin, eyes, nose, throat, and lungs.

 Ammonia gas properties:

 Physical properties Among the most important physical properties of ammonia gas are the following:

 - Its boiling point is -33.35 ° C. The freezing point is -77.7 ° C. Its vacuum shape appears as a triple pyramid, where nitrogen bonds with three hydrogen atoms and a pair of non-participating electrons.  It is the best solvent for organic matter.  Its molecules are linked by a hydrogen bond.  Chemical properties Among the most important chemical properties of ammonia gas are the following:

 The combustion of ammonia produces nitrogen gas and water.  Ammonia gas dissolves in water releasing heat, forming what is sometimes known as ammonium hydroxide.  The alkali metals and earth metals are dissolved in liquid ammonia, forming a blue solution.

 Uses of ammonia gas:

 * Ammonia in fertilizers Ammonia is used, which is often produced in the manufacture of fertilizers, as 90% of ammonia is used for this purpose, and farmers use fertilizers to maintain soil productivity, and it also helps to increase the levels of basic nutrients for crops, such as: zinc, selenium, and boron.

 - Ammonia in household cleaning products Ammonia is used as an ingredient in many household cleaning products. It is effective in removing household dirt, stains from animal fats, and vegetable oils such as cooking grease, and because ammonia is rapidly evaporating;  It is used in a glass cleaning solution so that no traces remain.

 Ammonia in industrial uses:

 * Ammonia is used as a refrigerant gas in HVAC equipment, and ammonia can be used in the manufacture of many products including plastics, explosives, fabrics, pesticides, dyes, rubber, paper, and foodstuffs, and it is also used in the pharmaceutical industry,
