   1- The characters in the short story can be a human or animal participating in the story, and the short story should focus on telling the reader only what he needs to know and completing the narration of the story.  The story, without telling the reader about the character's memories or childhood.  Focus on building the character that motivates the reader to complete the story so that you know what events will happen with it.

   2- The place and time of the story:

   5- Dialogue: It expresses the exchange between the characters in the story, and it must be proportional to the character from which it came, and we must bear in mind that it is brief and quick that expresses what is happening in the spirit of the speaking character.

   6- The topic :

topic is the dominant or basic idea that the writer tries to convey to the readers.  The topic can revolve around the author's thoughts on a specific topic from the point of view of human nature, and he can use different forms of speech.  Such as symbols, comparisons, metaphors or sarcasm to emphasize their purpose.

   7- Conflict:

 Conflict is fundamental to history.  Without conflict, there will be no plot for the story, and it expresses the opposing forces that bind different events together and keep the story going, and there can be in the short story a major conflict, with some minor conflicts.
