the giraffe:




 The giraffe belongs to the African cuspidor mammal family, and is the longest among the wild animals at all. It is distinguished by its long neck and straight stature, in addition to the bony protrusions on its head that resemble the horns, as well as its many types of fur.  Other animals cannot reach it, and the giraffe can survive for many long days without drinking water.




 Number of vertebrae on giraffe neck:




 The giraffe is characterized by a very long neck with a length of nearly two meters, and although the number of vertebrae in the neck of a giraffe is seven as the number of vertebrae in the human neck, but because of the presence of a disproportionate extension of the cervical vertebra, which constitutes about between 52 and 54% of the total  The length of the giraffe's spine, and the length of each of these vertebrae exceeds 28 centimeters, and thus the length of the giraffe’s neck sometimes exceeds two meters.




 Physical characteristics:




 The height of the adult giraffe ranges between five to six meters, and the males are longer than the females, while the weight of the female giraffe reaches 828 kilograms, and the weight of the male reaches 1,192 kilograms.  , It may reach a length of about 50 cm, and you use it to hold plants, and to rub their fur and clean their nose, and the fur of a giraffe is a coat covered with large dark spots.




 Giraffe Breed:




 Usually, giraffes live alone throughout the year, but they converge in the mating season so that the males can obtain the appropriate female to complete the pregnancy process, and when the new animal is born, the responsibility for caring for it is left to the mothers only, which in most cases is easy prey for lions, tigers and other animals.  The giraffe has no way to defend itself other than its ability to butch or kick.





 General information about giraffe:




 A female giraffe is pregnant for fifteen months, and at the time of birth, she gives birth to her baby standing up.  The average giraffe sleeps hours during the whole day to a maximum of about two hours, as each time it sleeps for a period not exceeding ten minutes.  The baby giraffe is the only animal that at birth has a throat.  The giraffe can run a race of about 30 miles in just one hour, and it can walk ten miles within one hour without feeling tired, because of its long legs.





 * The blood pressure of a giraffe is estimated to double the blood pressure of a human being.  Giraffes that live in the same area are similar to the spots that make up their fur, except that each giraffe has a specific pattern in which it does not resemble anyone, and it is similar to a human fingerprint.
